As some of you may know, last December 25 was a special day: firstly, because we relived the Mystery of Mysteries and we could relive the moment when the Light came into the world, and secondly because it is officially born the vineyard of the Lord .
Today, I borrow this space, to really talk about this project because I realize that little room has been dedicated. It is the brainchild of one of the workers who have come to appreciate and that is Mik. He offered me this journey together and I are queued because I thought the idea was not only good, but because it was almost revolutionary to address the issue of evangelization in a different way, in a way far more extensive and also the effort required was higher.
Despite the inevitable teething problems, we were able to go forward with the support of people (later workers) as Enza, Anna and Patrick and Stella as well as Navy and Upholstery (which I hope you can join in us), we came to the conclusion of a journey but it is only the beginning.
Our goal is ambitious and at first it would seem surreal and impossible, but now we really believe that nothing is impossible if the will of God is with us. On this basis we decided to offer, in addition to evangelization, even to those who require support. We know that the reality we live in is very difficult and every day we hear of desperate people because of loneliness or heavy problems. That's why we also decided to open up to them and to act as a support for anyone who wants to talk to us. We're just beginning, but we hope to can really make a real help.
The second step of our project, even more ambitious, regards the transposition of the Lord's vineyard in the real world. Just want to create the vineyard of the Lord in the real world, ie in the everyday world. How? Through the creation of a non-profit association which will have the initial goal to create a common fund to provide economic aid to the needy and then to pass the provision of services based on charity, such as the creation of centers or meeting family homes. All dividing it into portions of territory in which we live. Certainly we need volunteers , but there are those in Italy and I'm sure a call just to see them arrive. This is because Italy has an incredible number of people involved in volunteering and then we still believe in the ability of Jesus to raise the spirits of the people.
All this may sound crazy at first sight and indeed it is. But a foundation stone has already been asked and this space is its representation. Also create this space for us seemed a utopia, but we made it there. And then, if we trust in Jesus, there is really nothing precluded. The joy of being able to get help in practice, devoting our lives to others is what drives us, until we have this inside us, we can make it happen. hope even in your vital support.
