My children are up to you to express my great sorrow for the children tortured by that natural disaster. Many deaths, especially so much suffering and neglect of those who have already forgotten the great devastation that has befallen this small part of the world. My heart is there, my tears are there, but that place is also the hope that everything can change. I hope that your hearts are shaken in the face of so much pain to thank, at least once, God, what has given you so far And some things you took away . My children, I need your help to finally breathe new air, clean and renewed by constant prayer, that man should remember that God exists and is ready to enter the hearts of all. We should also take your tears for the sins of the world, the source of salvation for those living rooted in the earth, without ever looking up to heaven.

I love my children and I bless you in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Dear friends, I find myself, in spite of myself, writing a new tragedy right here, where so many others were written, like the earthquake of Abruzzo.

It 's a devastating tragedy, perhaps the most devastating of the last 200 years: hundreds of thousands of dead people with millions of survivors exposed to fear, the nightmare and epidemics. In all this, we can and we must have our say, we can not do much with our hands. A year later ... Thanks to all

It 'been a year when I was suddenly the idea and the urge to create something I thought I would never be able to do . The January 8 of the past year, I published my first real post on this space. Since then I have never stopped and with the help of Jesus Christ have gone on and now even working on another site, in the vineyard of the Lord, that I am sure will reach its goal.

During this year I met a lot of people, some with ardent faith, others a bit less and more atheist or agnostic. But each of these people gave me something that made me grow up. While I was in my lowliness and humility to help someone, that someone unknowingly helped me. And I thank God for this because through you, it helped me.

But I want to thank (I hope I remember all the names) all those who have followed, to a greater or lesser extent, my active blog: Dart, Marina, Stella, Anna, Yanis, Simone, Gianandrea, Calliope, Enza, toward the light, Scarlet, CuoreMissionario, Hector, Ippolito, Paul, Joseph and all fixed readers, and all that anonymous in the year have come in this space. In particular, I thank Mik for being a sort of coblogger with the preparation of post always very fair and interesting and also very popular with assistance from readers. I want to personally thank everyone for their support, for the help, for courage, for faith, for the presence, for making my room a sort of extended family. I also thank those who prayed for me and I ask forgiveness if I have forgotten some names (but you were so unexpectedly large)

I hope to continue to be part of your life and I hope that this space can serve as a tool to evangelize and to help more and more those who fight against the doubts and his demons. I want to clarify that unfortunately I can not publish posts with the same frequency as before because now I have a task more large in the Vineyard of the Lord (or rather, who wants to can come in there), but I never stray from here and I will always be available to anyone.

Dear brothers and sisters!

Today we celebrate the feast of the Epiphany, the " Event " of the Lord. The Gospel tells how Jesus came into the world with great humility and obscurity. San Matteo, however, relates the story of the Magi who came from the East, guided by a star to pay homage to the newborn King of the Jews. Every time I hear this story, we are struck by the stark contrast between the attitude of the Magi, on the one hand, and that of Herod and the Jews on the other. For the Gospel says that on hearing the words of the Magi, " King Herod was troubled and all Jerusalem with him " (Mt 2.3). A reaction that may have different understandings: Herod is alarmed because he sees that the Magi looking for a competitor for himself and for his children. The leaders and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, however, seem more like astounded, as awakened from a slumber, and in need of reflection. Isaiah, in fact, had announced: " a child is born for us, / we have been given a son. / Power upon his shoulder / and his name would be: / Advisor admirable, / Mighty God, / Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace " ( Is 9.5).

Why is Jerusalem so upset? It seems like almost anticipate what the Evangelist which will be the position of the chief priests and the Sanhedrin, but also to the people, against Jesus during his public life. Of course, highlight the fact that knowledge of the Scriptures and of the messianic prophecy does not lead everyone to open up to him and to his word. Comes to mind that, on the eve of the Passion, Jesus wept over Jerusalem because it did not recognize the time when it was visited (cf. Lk 19:44). Here we touch upon one of the crucial points of the theology of history: the tragedy of the faithful love of God in the person of Jesus, who " was his own, / and his people received him not ( Jn 1:11). In view of the entire Bible, this attitude of hostility, or ambiguity, or superficiality represents that of every man and " world " - in a spiritual sense - when you close the mystery of the true God, who comes to us in disarming gentleness of love. Jesus, the "King of the Jews " (cf. Jn 18:37), is the God of mercy and fidelity, he wants to reign in love and truth and asks us to repent, to abandon evil works and definitely go the way of good.

" Jerusalem " So in that sense we all are! We aid the Virgin Mary, who welcomed Jesus with faith, not to close our hearts to his Gospel of salvation. Let us rather than be conquered and transformed by him, the ' Emmanuel ", God came among us to give us the gift of His peace and His love.
